Single Sign-On (SSO): Providing Consumer Access for MobilePro
Problem
When new users are created via Single Sign-On (SSO), they need a password to log into MobilePro. Administrators must set up an automated process so that these users receive an email enabling them to set their MobilePro password.
Resolution
Create the Email Template
- Open Gladstone Operator.
- Go to
Automation Portal > Email Templates. - Select Add New and choose New member as the Template Type.
- Write an email introducing the MobilePro app. Make sure to include the Password Reset URL placeholder.
- Save the email template.
Create a Business Rule
- In Gladstone Operator, go to
Configuration > Automation > Business Rules. - Select Add New.
- Create a business rule using the email template you just created.
- This rule should trigger the email when a new SSO user logs into Gladstone Go and a member record is created.
- In Gladstone Operator, go to
User Sets a MobilePro Password
- The new user will receive the email.
- The user clicks the Reset Password link in the email.
- The user is directed to the Gladstone Go password reset page to set a password for MobilePro and other Gladstone Go products.
Notes
Troubleshooting
- If the email is not received:
- Check that the business rule is active and correctly linked to the email template.
- If the password reset link is not working:
- Ensure the Password Reset URL placeholder is included correctly in the email template.
- If the email is not received:
