# Setting Up Titles, User Fields and Screen Profiles in Plus2

## Problem
Administrators need a tidy list of titles and a set of reportable user fields in Plus2, shown on the 360 record and on Go Join and guest booking forms.

## Resolution

1. **Tidy the titles list**
   - Remove gender-specific duplicates (e.g. *Dr (male)*, *Dr (female)*).
   - A typical list: Dr, Mr, Mrs, Miss, Ms, Mx, Prefer not to say, Other.

2. **Plan the user fields**
   - Up to about 50 user fields. Use pick-lists rather than free text so they're reportable (e.g. cancellation and freeze reasons, how did you hear about us, customer segmentation, emergency contact, photography consent).
   - Reuse unused user fields (e.g. old opt-in fields) before creating new ones.
   - For discounted memberships needing proof, add an eligibility field plus a review/expiry date.

3. **Create the screen profile for 360**
   - The 360 record's user field tabs come from a Plus2 **screen profile** whose ID starts **USERF**.
   - Go to `Configuration > Membership > Screen profiles > New`. Only fields listed after *Privacy policy* are user fields.

4. **Save**
   - Save the screen profile.

## Notes

- Email salutations combine title and name.
- User fields exist on every record; they can't be limited to certain subscription types.
- **Impact on 360:** the GMC **Additional information** step shows the user fields; a different set can be shown by assigning a screen profile.
