Plus2 Activities, Reservations, Booking Sheets and Closures
Problem
You need to understand how bookable activities and reservations are set up in Plus2, how resources are blocked and closed, how far ahead customers can book, and which article covers each task.
Resolution
Configuring Activities in Plus2
- When setting up a slot the customer books at a time of their choosing, such as a court or a PT session, including instructors.
Plus2 Calendars, Time Bands and Opening Hours
- When controlling when an activity can be booked, or setting different opening hours by day.
Setting Up Classes and Reservations in Plus2
- When setting up scheduled classes or booked gym and swim sessions at set times.
Grouping Sessions on Go Book with Plus2 Descriptions
- When Go Book lists too many sessions for customers to find what they want.
Setting Advance Booking Windows in Plus2
- When controlling how far ahead an activity or class can be booked.
Closures, Exceptions and One-Off Sessions in Plus2
- When blocking resources for rotas, breaks or cleaning, closing areas for a bank holiday, cancelling a single session or adding a one-off session.
Configuring Block Bookings in Plus2
- When a reservation is charged to one host customer (a hosted reservation, or block booking).
Notes
- Classes, activities and bookings are still configured in Plus2. Each needs at least one price product (what it costs) and one resource product (where it takes place, that is, the booking sheet column).
- An activity is a bookable slot a customer chooses the time for, for example a court or a PT session. A reservation is a recurring booking on the booking sheet at set times, used for classes and for booked gym (or swim) sessions.
- Time bands created for a class, closure or instructor block must have Restrict entry ticked, or they can't be used as booking-sheet exceptions.
- Plus2 cannot use a shared generic Windows login, so each person who needs the booking sheet needs their own login.
