# How to Update Turnstile and Gate Entry Points for Bookings in Plus2

## Problem
You need to change entry access at turnstiles or gates from being based on membership subscription to being based on existing bookings. This is often required to restrict the number of members on site, for example, in response to situations like the COVID-19 pandemic.

## Resolution

1. Sign in to Plus2.
2. Navigate to `Configuration > System > Entry Points`.
    - Entry Point configuration can also be managed in the Gladstone Management Console (GMC).
3. Locate the appropriate Entry Point (e.g. Reception Turnstile, Gym Door).
4. Go to the **Permitted Subscription Types** tab.
    - Subscriptions that currently allow access will be displayed.
    - Take a screenshot or document the current settings to help revert changes later if needed.
5. Select each Subscription individually and click **Delete** until all Subscriptions have been removed.
6. Go to the **Permitted Resource Bookings** tab.
    - Add the Resource Products (e.g. Sports Hall Court 1, Court 2, Gym, Studio, etc.) that will grant access if the member has a booking in that area.
7. Go to the **More Details** tab.
    - Locate the **Entry Duration** within the Bookings Grace Period section.
    - Specify the amount of time (in minutes) that entry will be allowed before the start of a booking (e.g., 15 minutes before the booked activity or reservation).
8. Click **Save**.

## Notes
- After completing these steps, members will gain access only based on bookings (made in club, online via Connect, or using MobilePro), and not automatically based on a current subscription.
- There is no need to update the Reception, Bookings, Web (Connect), or Kiosk Entry points.
- This method allows sites to restrict entry based on the maximum number of bookees per reservation or activity.
