## Problem
You may need to change the "Earliest End Date" of a membership subscription in Plus2, for example, to update or remove the date indicating when a subscription should not be cancelled before. This article explains how to edit this field.

## Resolution
1. Open the member record through either the Members or Reception menu.
2. Select **Subscriptions** to open the Subscriptions screen.
3. Select the relevant subscription.
4. Locate the **Earliest End Date** field on the subscription details screen.
5. Change the Earliest End Date to the required date, or clear the field to remove the restriction.
6. Save the subscription.

## Notes
- The Earliest End Date field is informational only. It indicates the date before which the member should not cancel the subscription.
- The system does not take any automatic action based on the value of this field.
