# MobilePro: App Design Checklist

## Problem
This article provides a checklist to ensure that your MobilePro app design includes key modules and features. Missing these recommended components may mean your app users are not getting the best possible experience or full value from your solution.

## Resolution

Review your app design against the following checklist:

1. **My Bookings Tile**
   - If your app includes class booking, ensure you have a My Bookings tile. This helps users quickly view and manage their bookings.

2. **News Module**
   - Every app should have a News tile to publish news and send push notifications.
   - Use push notifications not just for closures or cancellations, but also to promote your facility and services — such as events, new classes, achievements, holiday activities, etc.

3. **Info Module**
   - Include at least one Info tile with content about your centre and facilities, using pictures, videos, and links.
   - Use Info modules instead of web modules for faster loading and offline viewing.

4. **Activities Booking Module**
   - If you offer bookable activities (e.g., badminton, squash), provide an Activity Booking tile for easy user booking.

5. **Schedule Module**
   - For non-bookable items (like swim sessions), use the Schedule module to show timetables.
   - If you use web timetables from Active-in-Time, you can request a special module for this.

6. **Class Booking Module**
   - For bookable classes, add the native Class Booking module. This allows easy searching, booking, and (if configured) cancellation—plus payment integration.

7. **Lead Generation**
   - Consider adding Lead Generation features to your app. While extra cost, it can pay for itself by attracting new members. Lead Generation should be in every app.

8. **Personal Tracking Integrations**
   - If your centre promotes solutions like mywellness, eGYM, MYZONE, or SWIMTAG, use the corresponding modules to allow seamless access and tracking for your members.

9. **Multisite Searching**
   - If you have multiple sites, check that all appear on the app’s "Search Club" page.
   - If some sites are missing, adjust your Club Search settings in the cockpit to include the correct search keywords.

10. **Login Settings**
    - You can enable user registration, password resets, and additional buttons on the login page via the cockpit.
    - By default, these are off. Turn them on if you have online joining (e.g., Join@Home). Ask your reseller for help.

11. **AWS on HTTPS**
    - Ensure your AWS installation uses HTTPS, not HTTP, for security and data protection compliance.

12. **Web Modules (when to use)**
    - Use web modules for forms, third-party content, or integrations only.
    - Do not use web modules for basic news or info—Info and News modules are preferred for speed, offline use, and better user experience.

## Notes

- News and Info modules allow scheduling and push notifications, with content always accessible within the app.
- Info modules help inform users about all centre services, not just those they already use, and support social sharing.
- Avoid using web modules for general info/timetables, as they may load slowly and are less user-friendly on mobile devices.
- The cockpit's Content Syndication API allows you to display News, Info, and Schedule content on your website and displays in real-time.
- If multisite search is not working, adjust the club keywords in your settings or contact Gladstone support for assistance.
- Refer to your reseller or the Gladstone support team for help with specific modules or advanced settings.
