This article describes how to identify your payment terminal as a V200c and its required connections.
How to identify your device
The Verifone V200c device is used with Gladstone360 for processing Point-of-Sale card payments. It is a network-cabled device, with a built-in receipt printer. Menus are navigated using a button pad and function buttons (there is no touchscreen on this device).
The model number V200c may be visible just below the green button.
You will find more details on the labels under the back plate. Remove the plate on the bottom of the PIN pad to reveal two labels.
The large label shows:
Model: V200c Plus
PITID: 8-digit reference required when contacting Verifone
10/100 MAC: Network address information
The small label shows:
Serial Number: 9 digit number separated with hyphens.
This detail is required when logging a case with Gladstone or Verifone
Connections
Only two connections are required, power and ethernet network cable.
Note:
Ensure the network cable is plugged in to the RJ45 port marked with the network icon as shown below.
The second RJ45 port is a serial port and is not used.
