V200c: How to produce an X or Z read

This article describes how to perform an X and Z read on an integrated V200c payment terminal


When a V200c payment terminal is integrated with Gladstone360 an X or Z read on the device has to be done via Gladstone360.

The steps below will guide you through using Gladstone360 to perform an X or Z read on the payment terminal.

  1. Log in to Gladstone360 as a user with permissions to access PC Settings
  2. Open the Gladstone360 POS screen
  3. Click the configuration cog in the top-right corner of the POS screen and select PC Settings
  4. Under the section Chip & PIN, click the Reports button
  5. A list of reports will be displayed which will include X Read and Z Read
    Click the button you require and the PED will perform the read and produce the receipt.

  6. You will go back to the PC Settings screen. Click Cancel to finish and go back to POS.

 

Note:
This process performs the X or Z read on one device only.
Repeat this process on each POS terminal linked to a V200c device.

X and Z readings for Gladstone360 are run separately from within POS Readings.
