Unable to purchase this product for this time band or price level

There is an error message which commonly occurs in Plus2. 
 

'Unable to purchase this product for this time band or price level'
 

There are two possible reasons for this message, The key to identifying this message is to look at the details on the line following Member ID:
 

Example 1: Member ID: 1017047: Court 1 @ STAND/ADULT

If there is an issue such as unable to purchase this product for this time band or price level then this means that either the pricing product or resource product has a missing tick in the purchase allowed box for the price level states in the error message. This is the price level which belongs to the Member ID:

The key to resolving these queries is by looking at the information below.

Member ID: 1017047: Court 1 @ STAND/ADULT

These three elements will tell you what the pricing product issue is to do with.

  • The Product 'Court 1' is the product which has the issue
  • The Time band 'STAND' is the timeband which is affected
  • The Price Level 'ADULT' is the price level which is affected

This means that you need to go to CONFIGURATION > FINANCIAL > PRODUCTS > PRODUCTS

Find the Product 'Court1'

Go to the Pricing Tab

Look for the Line STAND / ADULT

The Purchase Allowed box is NOT TICKED

Tick this box and you will now be able to book that court or activity, if that court belongs to an activity.

 

Example 2: Member ID: 1017047: Court 1 @ ADULT
 

After the subscription error is shown you should see STAND/ADULT. In some cases one of those will be missing like this: /ADULT.

The is because the calendar behind the pricing product is set to a calendar where there is limited access. You need to change the calendar of the product to STAND. This will resolve the issue
