Endurance Zone: How to configure your integration

A step-by-step guide to setting up and managing your Endurance Zone integration

Introduction

Gladstone has partnered with Endurance Zone to offer you the opportunity to incentivize your members with a unique rewards platform. Additionally, we have developed a self-service portal that gives you complete control to make changes to the integration without the need for our Professional Service team or Endurance Zone.

Step 1: Creating Subscription Type Groups

Endurance Zone provides up to 4 different Tiers of their rewards platform, each offering greater access to additional discounts. As a result, there are 3 common scenarios that customers may want to consider:

  1. One tier where all members have access to the same Endurance Zone rewards.
  2. Two tiers where Pay As You Go members are offered entry level rewards, while monthly and paid in full members receive enhanced rewards.
  3. Multiple tiers based on the category of membership, such as Pay As You Go, Off-Peak, Peak, and Premium.

Regardless of the approach you choose to implement your Endurance Zone rewards, it is all managed through Subscription Type Groups in Plus2.

To create Subscription Type Groups, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Configuration > Financial > Subscription Type Groups.
  2. Select New and provide an ID, such as "REW1", and a description*.
  3. Create as many Subscription Type Groups as you need (for Scenario 1, only one may be necessary).

Once the Subscription Type Groups have been created, it is then just the task of allocating your subscriptions to the appropriate group.

  • Go to Configuration > Financial > Subscription Type
  • Select each Subscription Type that you wish to assign to an Endurance Zone tier
  • Go to the More Details tab and choose Add.
  • Search for the relevant Subscription Type ID and add it to the Subscription Type

* We strongly recommend creating new Subscription Type Groups for your rewards. Although you will see on the next step that multiple Subscription Type Groups can be mapped to an Endurance Zone tier, such method of configuration would complicate making changes in the future.

Step 2: Mapping your Subscription Type Groups to Endurance Zone Tiers

Now that the subscriptions have been mapped to groups within Plus2, the final step is to map these groups to Endurance Zone and activate the integration. This can be easily done through the Operator product.

To map your Subscription Type Groups to Endurance Zone Tiers, follow these steps:

  1. From Operator, go to Configuration > Integrations > Endurance Zone.
  2. Enter the unique API Key provided by Endurance Zone.
  3. Depending on how you want to map your Subscription Type Groups, use the Select Membership Type Groups search boxes for each tier to assign your groups.

The example below is based on Scenario 3 mentioned earlier.

Once you are satisfied with the mapping, simply enable the activation and select Save.

  • Once happy with the mapping, simply Enable the activation and select Save.

Once the mapping is complete, the synchronisation process will begin for all members who meet the criteria you have set. Welcome emails will be sent out accordingly. The initial synchronisation time will depend on the number of members being sent to Endurance Zone. However, in most cases, the majority of members should be synchronised within 24 hours.
