GladstoneGo: Google Analytics

Tracking usage of your online services is key to understanding your consumer's behaviour and the success of your marketing efforts.

Introduction

A Google Analytics integration allows you to track page views and lead conversions at membership sign-up as well as at booking completion. To do so, all you require is a Google Analytics account. If you do not have one, you can create one at the following link - Google Analytics Account Creation

Google Analytics Setup

Once you have signed in to your Google account, you will be presented with the following screen.

  1. Select the option Start measuring.

  2. Enter your account name, such as your business name.

  3. Enter a name for the website you are tracking, such as the domain name as well as the desired currency.

  4. Select the appropriate business information and the intention of the analytic tracking.

  5. Read and accept the Terms and Conditions.

  6. Select Web as the appropriate platform to setup your data stream.

  7. Enter the website address where your GladstoneGo Consumer platform is hosted, provide a name for the data stream and select Create Stream.

  8. Upon creating the data stream, you will be provided with a Measurement ID, which should be copied for the next step.

GladstoneGo Setup

Now you have your Google Analytics Measurement ID, it needs assigning within Operator.

  1. Go to Configuration > Modules > Configure > Google Analytics Key and select Manage.

  2. Enter your Measurement ID in the All Sites value or, if you are using multiple ID's for tracking different sites, enter the ID in the relevant site and select Save.
