GladstoneGo: Booking Release Time

Booking Release Time allows you to have a specific time in the day for all classes to be released and made available to book

All activities and classes are released according to their advanced booking period in Plus2. This sets the number of days in advance that they can be booked. By default, the time they are released in Go Book is the same time that the class start time. That is a class starting at 6pm with a 3 day advanced booking period set will be available to book from 6pm, 3 days prior to the class.

With Booking Release Time enabled, all classes due for release that day can be made available at a specific time, for example when the Centre opens at 8am.

2. Advanced Booking Periods

As all classes are released at midnight by default, an offset is used to define when you wish your classes are available for booking. The configuration can be found in Gladstone360 in the GMC. Select Configuration Manager > Configuration > Member Facing Global. On the first tab, Configuration, you will see the Class Configuration dropdown that provides the classes offset.

For operators with multiple sites that have different rules around booking, you will notice the All Sites option within the offset. This allows you to have different rules for different sites.

3. Enabling Booking Release Time

Now that the advanced booking period is set in Plus2 and the offset has been set in the GMC, you can now enable the Booking Release Time. Within Operator, go to Configuration > Modules > Configure and search for Enable Booking Release Time. Enter True if you wish the setting to be enabled or False to disable the feature.
