# Single API - Well Known Configuration

## Problem
To authenticate with Gladstone's Single API, you need the correct URLs and technical details. These are published in a 'Well Known' configuration, but it may not be clear where to find it or how to use it.

## Resolution
1. Find the [Operator address](../guides/glossary.md) of the organisation you are integrating with: the web address it uses to open [GO Operator](../guides/glossary.md).
2. Add `/identity/.well-known/openid-configuration` to the end of that address.  
   Example:  
   ```
   https://yourorganisation.gladstonesoftware.cloud/identity/.well-known/openid-configuration
   ```
3. Copy and paste the full URL into a web browser to view the Well Known configuration.
4. Use the "Pretty Print" checkbox (if your browser offers one) to view the content as formatted JSON.
5. Use this URL, together with your Client ID and Client Secret, for authentication and token management. If you are working with a developer, give them this URL.
