## Problem

You want to receive Gladstone Reporting Dashboard information by email on a regular schedule without manually opening the Dashboard each time.

### What is a Dashboard Subscription?

**Dashboard Subscriptions allow qualifying Gladstone Reporting Dashboards to be sent automatically to the email address associated with your Cloud Username.**

You can configure a Dashboard Subscription to receive reporting content on an available schedule, such as daily, weekly or monthly.

Dashboard Subscriptions provide a snapshot of the Dashboard content by email. To interact with the reporting data or use Drill Down functionality, open the Dashboard directly within Gladstone Reporting.

### How do I create a Dashboard Subscription?

To configure a Dashboard Subscription:

1. Open the Dashboard you want to receive by email.
2. Locate **Email Report Settings** in the top-right corner of the Dashboard, represented by an envelope icon.
3. Change **Subscription Off** to **Subscription On**.
4. Select the required email report format.
5. Configure the required schedule.

Dashboard Subscription emails are sent to the email address associated with your Gladstone Cloud Username.

### Which email report formats are available?

Dashboard Subscriptions can provide reporting content using the following formats:

- **Embedded in Email** — Dashboard Widgets are displayed within the body of the email.
- **PDF Attachment** — the Dashboard is provided as a PDF attachment.

When using the PDF option, select **Edit/View PDF Report** where available to configure options such as page size and orientation.

### How often can Dashboard Subscription emails be sent?

Available scheduling options include:

- Daily
- Weekly
- Monthly

Select the schedule appropriate to your reporting requirement.

### How do I stop a Dashboard Subscription?

To stop receiving a subscribed Dashboard:

1. Open the relevant Dashboard.
2. Open **Email Report Settings**.
3. Change **Subscription On** to **Subscription Off**.

The Dashboard will no longer be sent according to the previously configured schedule.

### Can I Drill Down from an emailed Dashboard?

**No. Dashboard Subscription emails provide a snapshot of reporting content and do not provide the interactive Drill Down functionality available within Gladstone Reporting.**

To investigate the underlying data, sign in to Gladstone Reporting and open the relevant Dashboard or Widget.

- Dashboard Subscriptions are available only for qualifying Dashboards.
- Emails are sent to the email address associated with the user's Cloud Username.
- Available subscription options may depend on the Dashboard and the user's permissions.
- Email reports represent reporting content at the time they are generated and are not interactive.
