# Finance Extracts: Export Locations and Access

## Problem
You need to know where your finance extract files are exported to and how to access them.

## Resolution
1. When finance extract files are generated, they can be exported to two locations:
    - **Azure Storage Account - Gladstone Drive** (preferred method)
    - **File path directly on an SFTP server** (legacy method that is being phased out)
2. If files are exported to Gladstone Drive, they can be accessed by:
    - Using an SFTP connection to `gladstone-drive.gs-signature.cloud`
    - Using a portal connection to `gladstone-drive.gs-signature.cloud` — see [How to Access Gladstone Drive](../plus2/how-to-access-gladstone-drive.md)

## Notes
- The SFTP server method is a legacy option and is being phased out.
- Gladstone Drive is the preferred method for accessing finance extract files.
