# Configuring Gladstone 360 to Use Dojo PEDs

## Problem
You need to configure your Gladstone 360 POS system to use Dojo PEDs (card payment terminals supplied by Dojo) for payment processing. PED, Gladstone360 and GMC are explained in the [glossary](../guides/glossary.md).

## Resolution

Follow the steps below to configure your system for Dojo PED integration:

### 1. Add Dojo API Authorisation Information in GMC

1. Obtain the required API authorisation details from Dojo.  
2. Log in to GMC and go to **Configuration Manager > Configuration**.
3. Select the **Gladstone360 CheckIn POS** product and the required **AppID** (if not selected by default).
4. Choose **Dojo Settings** and enter the authorisation information provided by Dojo.
5. Click **Save**.

### 2. Set the Available PED Type in GMC

1. Still in GMC, on the same configuration page, find the PED type section.
2. In the dropdown, select the PED types available in your organisation, including **Dojo Cloud**.
3. Click **Save**.

### 3. Set the PED Device ID in Gladstone 360 POS

1. Log in to **Gladstone 360** and select **POS**.
2. Click the settings icon in the top-right corner and select **PC settings**.
3. Under **PED Type**, choose **Dojo Cloud**.
4. Enter the PED device ID to be used with this POS.
5. Click **Save**.

## Notes

- The first two steps (API authorisation and PED type) are completed in GMC.
- The final step (PED device ID) is carried out in Gladstone 360 POS.
- You must have the information provided by Dojo before beginning this process.
