Users may encounter various error messages when processing payments in Gladstone360 POS on Android payment devices (PEDs). This article explains the meaning of these common messages and their implications.
Resolution
Below are some of the common error messages in Gladstone360 POS, what they mean, and suggested actions:
No PaymentContracts matched against cardBrand(500)
- Meaning: The card scheme being used is not an allowed payment type for this merchant. Only the card payment types listed for the organisation in Verifone Central are accepted.
POI Busy
- Meaning: POI stands for Point of Interaction, referring to the PED handling the transaction. This message appears if the PED is busy processing a transaction from another Point of Sale.
- Action: Click Close to clear the message. Complete or cancel the transaction on the PED, then redo the payment in Gladstone360.
Processing Payment Cloudflare Timeout
- Meaning: A Cloudflare timeout screen appears after the "Processing Payment" screen. This occurs if Gladstone360 does not receive a response from Verifone.
- Action: If this happens, the payment may have been taken on the card but not closed off in Gladstone360. Refresh the browser to return to the basket with the item still for sale.
Payment processing failed
- Meaning: This error may occur for either of these reasons:
- Invalid Verifone User ID
- Invalid Organisation ID
- Meaning: This error may occur for either of these reasons:
