# Verifone V200c Identification and Connections

HTML version: [Verifone V200c Identification and Connections](https://support.gladstonesoftware.cloud/hardware/verifone-v200c-identification-and-connections)

## Problem
You need to identify your payment terminal as a Verifone V200c and connect it correctly for use with Gladstone360 Point-of-Sale card payments.

## Resolution
1. **Identify your device:**
    - The Verifone V200c is a network-cabled terminal with a built-in receipt printer.
    - It uses a button pad and function buttons for navigation (no touchscreen).
    - Look just below the green button for the model number "V200c."
    - For more details, remove the back plate under the device to reveal two labels:
        - **Large label:**
            - Model: V200c Plus
            - PITID: 8-digit reference (required when contacting Verifone)
            - 10/100 MAC: Network address information
        - **Small label:**
            - Serial Number: 9-digit number separated with hyphens (required when logging a case with Gladstone or Verifone)
2. **Connect the device:**
    - Only two connections are needed: power and ethernet network cable.
    - Plug the network cable into the RJ45 port marked with the network icon.
    - Do **not** use the second RJ45 port, as it is a serial port and not used.

## Notes
- The network icon identifies the correct ethernet port for connection.
- The serial number and PITID may be required when logging a support case.
