# How to Connect a T650P via a Full Feature Base

## Problem
Users need to connect a T650P Android PED to a network using a Full Feature Base and a wired ethernet connection, instead of Wi‑Fi. This connection method is required to set up the device for use with Gladstone360.

## Resolution

1. **Connect the Network Cables**
   - Ensure a cable is connected from the network wall point.
   - Connect the ethernet cable to the network port on the rear of the Full Feature Base.
   - **Important:** Make sure you use the correct ethernet port on the base.

2. **Connect Power to the Base**
   - Connect the supplied DC power adapter to the power input on the side of the base.
   - Plug the power adapter into the mains power outlet and switch on the power.
   - Wait a few seconds for the base to power up.

3. **Pair the T650P to the Base using Bluetooth**
   - Open the **Base Control** app on the T650P Android PED.
   - Select the **Pair A New Dock** option.
   - The device will display a picture of a base and the message “Put terminal into dock”.
   - Place the T650P onto the base. After a few seconds, the device will display the message “Pairing…”.
   - After a few more seconds, the device will display “Pairing Complete”.
   - A blue light will be visible by the power connector.

4. **Reboot the T650P**
   - Lift the T650P from the base.
   - Press and hold the power button on the side of the device until the restart options appear on screen.
   - Select **Restart**. The device will reboot and reconnect to the base, ready for use.

## Notes

- **Troubleshooting:**
  - If the device does not pair with the base, ensure the T650P is seated correctly on the base and that the base is powered on before trying again.
  - If there is no blue light visible on the base, check that the power adapter is connected correctly and the mains power outlet is switched on.
