# Restrictions

**Rate Limiting**

The Gladstone Cloud platform has rate limiting enforced on all customer domains which cannot be bypassed. Currently this is enforced via

* IP Address
* 350 requests per 10 seconds

If your use exceeds this, you will receive a 429 response and your IP address will be blocked for 1 minute.

**Country Blocks**

By default, Gladstone Cloud environments only accept traffic from the UK. If your integration needs to connect from outside the UK, contact our support desk before going live. Requests blocked by this rule receive a 403 response that includes the blocked country code.

This default rule protects customer environments from traffic originating in countries where those customers do not operate. It can be configured per environment.
