GladstonePay Settings in Go Operator
Problem
You need to understand how online payments on Go Book and Go Join are configured in Operator, and what that means for refunds, reporting and recurring card payments in 360 and Plus2.
Resolution
Check the Gladstone Pay area of Operator
- It holds your merchant ID, signature key and payment configuration keys (live and test values differ), plus the link to your RCP terms and conditions.
- Gladstone enters the keys during implementation; contact Gladstone Support for changes.
Enable the Wallet (if applicable)
- The optional Wallet lets customers save cards and choose which card to use for RCP.
Set up a GSP payment method in 360 and Plus2
- Set up a GSP payment method so online transactions can be identified in reports and the finance extract.
Refund online payments in the GladstonePay portal
- Online payments must be refunded in the GladstonePay portal, and the booking or membership also cancelled in 360/Plus2.
Notes
- Go Book and Go Join payments (including the first RCP payment) go straight to GladstonePay and your merchant account, bypassing the 360 till.
- Unpaid baskets are released after a timeout, so a payment confirmed just after release can leave a charge with no booking; check the portal.
- An RCP card can only be registered on Go: Go registers it automatically at joining, or the customer adds it in the Wallet. A membership sold at the till has no card registered until the customer adds one.
- RCP collection fails after a till sale: the customer must add a card in the Go Wallet.
- Online payments failing with a correct test card: contact Gladstone Support to check the merchant keys.
