Enabling the Alert List for Classes in Gladstone Go
Problem
When a class becomes fully booked, customers cannot register further interest in attending. Enabling the alert list on the class lets them register their interest in case a space becomes available.
Resolution
Open the reservation in Plus2
- In Plus2, go to
Configuration > Bookings > Reservations. - Select the class you want to enable an alert list for (for example, "Morning Spin 30").
- In Plus2, go to
Tick Waiting List
- Go to the General Details tab.
- Tick the Waiting List checkbox.
Save
- Click Save.
Notes
- Applies to Plus2, Gladstone Go and Gladstone360.
- In Plus2 the alert list feature is called Waiting List. It is the same as the Alert List shown in Gladstone Go and Gladstone360.
- The tick is needed on each class or reservation. Without it the alert button does not appear on Go Book, whatever the Operator settings say. To switch it on for many classes at once, ask Gladstone Support to bulk-tick them.
- Alert lists work for reservations (classes) only, not activities. A court booked as a reservation can have one; a court booked as an activity cannot.
- Changes in Plus2 can take about 20 minutes to show in Go. Customers may also need to refresh their browser.
- Prerequisites: access to Plus2, permission to configure reservations, and the classes or reservations already created.
- The tick only makes the list available. The opening window, cut-off and exclusions are set in Operator: see GladstoneGo: Alert List Notification Setup. For the whole set-up, including the communication job and push notifications, see Class Alert Lists and Push Notifications.
