## Problem
Coaches need to know what each alert in CoachPortal means. CoachPortal includes a range of alerts designed to support safe, informed and well-managed sessions.

## Resolution

1. **Identify the alert type**
   - Use the table below to understand what each alert shows:

     | Alert | What it shows |
     |---|---|
     | **Medical condition** | Highlights any important health information coaches need to be aware of to support participants appropriately. |
     | **Birthday** | Notifies coaches when a swimmer in their group is celebrating a birthday, helping create a positive and inclusive experience. |
     | **New starter** | Identifies participants who are new to a group, allowing coaches to offer additional support and reassurance during their first sessions. |
     | **Direct Debit payment** | Highlights any payment issues linked to attendees, ensuring coaches are aware of potential administrative matters without needing access to sensitive financial details. |
