# Targeting an Age Range within your Contact Triggers

HTML version: [Targeting an Age Range within your Contact Triggers](https://support.gladstonesoftware.cloud/golearn/targeting-an-age-range-within-your-contact-triggers)

## Problem
You want a Contact Trigger in GoLearn to send its message only to members within a specific age range, by adding a condition to the trigger.

## Resolution

1. **Open the trigger**
   - Create a new contact trigger by clicking **Add Trigger**, or edit an existing one by clicking the **Edit** button against a trigger that already exists in your GoLearn.

2. **Add a condition**
   - Scroll down to the **Conditions** section and click **Add Condition**.

3. **Choose the condition type**
   - Click the first box (**Select a condition type...**) and select **Member Age (Years)**.
   - Other condition types available include **Allocation Cost**, **Class Size**, **Member Level (Name)**, **Allocation Start Date**, **Allocation End Date** and **Member Is In Class**.

4. **Choose the operator**
   - Click the second box (the operator, titled **is**) and select **is Between**.
   - Other operators available are **is**, **is not**, **is less than**, **is more than**, **is less than or the same as** and **is more than or the same as**.

5. **Enter the age range**
   - Enter the **Lower bound** and **Upper bound** ages.

6. **Add the condition**
   - Click **+ Add**. Your condition is now assigned to this trigger, and a summary is shown (for example "The message will only be sent if: the member age (years) is between 3, 4").

7. **Save the trigger**
   - Click the green **Save Trigger** button against this trigger.

## Notes

- Conditions can be added under **Meet ALL of the following conditions** or **Meet ANY of the following conditions**.
- For age ranges, always use the lower and upper bound fields.
- A condition can be removed by clicking **Delete** against it.
