# How to Create a Class Name Definition

## Problem
You need to create a Class Name Definition in GoLearn and link it to a course.

## Resolution

1. **Open Class Name Definitions**
   - Go to `Settings > Courses > Class Name Definitions`.

2. **Add a definition**
   - Click **Add Class Name Definition**.
   - Type in the class **Name**.
   - From the **Course** drop-down, select the course the class name is relevant for.

3. **Save**
   - Click the green **Save** button.

## Notes

- Both **Name** and **Course** are mandatory fields.
