# How to Cancel a Class in GoLearn

## Problem
You need to cancel one or more scheduled classes in GoLearn, for reasons such as holidays or other short-notice changes. This may involve cancelling individual classes or all classes on a specific day, with an option to apply a cancellation reason.

## Resolution

1. **Open the Overview screen**  
   Navigate to the Overview screen in GoLearn where you can view scheduled classes by day, week, or four-day period.

2. **Select Cancel/Uncancel**  
   Locate the class or classes you want to cancel from the Overview screen and select **Cancel/Uncancel**.

3. **Choose how to cancel**  
   - To cancel individual classes, select each one you wish to cancel.
   - To cancel all classes for the selected day, choose **Cancel Day**.

4. **Save your changes**  
   Select **Save Classes** to confirm. The selected classes will be marked as cancelled.

5. **Apply cancellation details**  
   Choose a cancellation reason from your predefined list and add any relevant notes.

## Notes

- When you cancel a class, email notifications are usually triggered. This may include **Class Cancellation Email** or **X Days in Advance of Cancelled Class**.
- If you are cancelling a large number of classes (for example, during holiday periods), you may want to turn off email triggers to prevent unwanted notifications to participants.
- If participants are receiving unwanted notifications after cancellation, check that email triggers have been disabled as necessary.
