How to Book a Member into a Class from a Held Space
Problem
You need to book a member into a class where a space is being held for them in GoLearn. You can start from the member's profile or from the Book tab.
Resolution
From the member's profile
Find the member
- Click Members in the left-hand menu.
- Search for the member by their name or card ID number, then click Search.
- Click More against their profile.
Start a booking
- In the member's profile, click Book.
- Select the course and level.
Book into the held space
- A message shows against the class the member has a held space for, for example (1 held for selected member).
- Click Book against that class.
Complete the booking
- Complete the booking as normal (select the payment plan and take payment as required).
From the Book tab
Open the Book tab
- Navigate to the Book tab.
Select the class
- Find the class with the held space and click the Book button.
Find the member
- Search to find the member with the held space.
Complete the booking
- Follow the standard booking process through to completion.
Notes
- Once the booking is complete, the held space is released automatically and removed from the member for the class they have just been booked into.
- Held spaces can also be reviewed from the Held Spaces option on the booking screen.
