## Problem
Staff members need to create a new class in GoLearn, including both continuous and fixed term classes, so that courses can be set up and booked.

## Resolution
1. **Open Classes**
   - In GoLearn, go to **Settings > Courses > Classes**.

2. **Create the New Class**
   - Select **Add Class**.
   - Enter the class details:
     - **Course Type**: Choose whether the class is Continuous or Fixed Term.
     - **Class Name**: Enter a relevant name for the class.
     - **Location**: Select a location from the dropdown list.
     - **Teacher**: Select a teacher from the dropdown list.
     - **Class Size**: Enter the capacity for the class.

3. **Add Assessment Level**
   - Select the required assessment level by moving it from the "Does not assess" section to the "Does assess" section.

4. **Set Dates and Times**
   - Choose the **From** date and ensure it matches the correct day of the week.
   - Add the **Start Time** and **End Time**.

5. **Check Presentation Settings**
   - The presentation colour is set automatically.

6. **Enable Online Booking (if required)**
   - For online bookings, select the **Enable HomePortal Booking** option.

7. **Save the Class**
   - Select **Save Class**. The new class will now appear in the overview for the selected week.

## Notes
- When creating multiple classes using the **Save and New** action, the **Override Colour** option will default to checked. Uncheck this option if you do not wish to override the colour.
- To avoid incorrect scheduling, make sure that the selected date aligns with the correct weekday.
- If colour settings appear incorrect, verify that "Override Colour" is unchecked when using the "Save and New" action.
