## Problem
When a member does not have a subscription but needs to be booked onto a course in GoLearn, you need to use a cash block to process a one-off payment and complete the booking.

## Resolution

1. **Confirm the member record exists**
   - Ensure the child has a member record in Plus2 or Gladstone360 with all required details completed.

2. **Open GoLearn booking**
   - In GoLearn, go to **Book** and select the **Level** for the class.

3. **Search for the member**
   - Search for the member using their name or member ID from Gladstone360, then select **Continue**.

4. **Select the cash block option**
   - Only cash block options will display (as the member does not have a subscription).
   - Choose the first session class start date.
   - Select the appropriate cash block amount and select **Continue**.

5. **Process the payment in Gladstone360**
   - Return to Gladstone360 and go to **Check-In > Unpaid Sales** tab.
   - Find the booking just completed in GoLearn.
   - Add it to the basket and complete the payment.

6. **Add member information**
   - Select the child's name or access via the **Members** option on the left-hand menu in GoLearn.
   - Review the details pulled from Gladstone360.
   - Use 'Search for a condition' to add any medical conditions.
   - Add any relevant details in 'Extra notes'.
   - These details will be visible to the teacher on their device.

7. **Check payment status**
   - View outstanding balances in the **Finance** section of the customer record.
   - Note: It may take up to 20 minutes for the system sync to update payment status between GoLearn and Gladstone360 or Plus2.

- **Payment not showing in GoLearn:** Wait up to 20 minutes for the system sync to complete between GoLearn and Gladstone360.
