How to Let Current Customers Top Up into Next Term While Showing Available Spaces
Problem
You want existing customers to top up, pay and secure their space for next term, while any remaining spaces in the same classes stay available for new bookings on your online joining page.
Resolution
Edit the course
- Open the course for editing.
Turn off pro-rata booking
- Untick the Enable Pro-Rata setting ("Whether to allow people to book on mid-course").
Save the course
- Click Save Course.
- Current customers can still top up and secure their space for next term, and because Enable Pro-Rata is unticked, the remaining spaces are available for new bookings for the new term.
Notes
- Example scenario: you run 10-week terms, you want current customers to top up, pay and secure their space in the next term within the last 3 weeks of the current term, and you want any available spaces in the same classes to be available on your online joining page for new bookings.
