# Configure Direct Debit Collections in GoLearn Reports

## Problem
You need to understand the **Include unlinked collections** filter on the **Direct Debit Collections** report in GoLearn Reports, and how it changes which collections are shown.

## Resolution

1. **Open the report**
   - Launch your GoLearn Reports and click the **Direct Debit Collections** report.

2. **Find the filter**
   - In the **Filters** on the right-hand side is a filter called **Include unlinked collections** (alongside **To Date**, **Regions**, **Centres**, **Courses** and **Teachers**).

3. **Set the filter**
   - Tick or untick it depending on which collections you want to see:

     | Filter state | What the report shows |
     |---|---|
     | **Ticked** | Every Direct Debit collection you have taken, even if the Direct Debit is no longer tied to a class booking. |
     | **Unticked** | Only the Direct Debits you have collected that are related to a class booking, meaning the member is/was on a class booking at the time of the collection. |

## Notes

- A collection can become unlinked from a class booking if you have removed a member from a class using the **Leave Now** option after the collection has already been sent to your Direct Debit provider to collect.
