HTML version: [Gladstone 360 Check-in and Member Record Permissions](https://support.gladstonesoftware.cloud/gladstone360/gladstone-360-check-in-and-member-record-permissions)

## Problem
You need to know which permission lets a Check-in user see or change bookings, attendance, correspondence, documents or search results on a member in 360, or why a widget is missing for them.

## Resolution

These permissions are set on **POS roles** in `GMC > Security Configuration > Permissions`, grouped under the headings below.

   | Permission | What it allows |
   |---|---|

## Notes

- **Correspondence permissions may differ in your build**: the 2017 permission guide lists separate add, edit and delete permissions for notes, office messages and reception messages. Later training reported that in 360 the message permission is a **single on/off** that can't separate reception from office messages as Plus2 does. Check the live Permissions screen. The on-screen button is described as **Pass to contact** in training and **Pass to member** in the permission guide.
- Why classes and reservations can't be moved is covered in [Managing Bookings in Gladstone 360](managing-bookings-in-gladstone-360.md).
- Documents are covered in [Documents in 360 (Contact Documents and Workflow Document Steps)](documents-in-360-contact-documents-and-workflow-document-steps.md).
- The permissions to open Check-in and POS (**Modules**, **POS Access**) are in [Gladstone 360 POS Till Permissions](gladstone-360-pos-till-permissions.md).
- This list comes from Gladstone's 2017 POS and Check-in permission guide. Newer builds may have added, renamed or removed permissions; check the live Permissions screen when a name doesn't match.
