Twin Labs Marketplace API Integration Overview

Problem

This article provides information required for integrating Twin Labs with the Gladstone Marketplace API. The integration queries member demographic and attendance data to support equipment usage correlation within the Twin Labs digital twin platform.

Resolution

1. Integration Description

   • The integration queries the Gladstone API for age, gender, and postcode information.
   • Data is used to match gym attendance with equipment usage information in the Twin Labs platform.
   • Data is fetched once per hour and stored in the Twin Labs time-series database.
   • When data is viewed in the Twin Labs UI, it is retrieved from stored data (no further API call to Gladstone is triggered).

   • Integration uses a REST API (single API).

4. Test Calls and Responses

   • Test calls were completed using the Gladstone sandbox environment.
   • Testing was performed using a customer tenant.

• When users access data in the Twin Labs UI, no additional API calls are made to Gladstone; data is served from Twin Labs' internal storage.
