How to Remove a Site or Membership Group from EGYM
Problem
You need to stop sending a site's members, or the members in a particular membership group, to EGYM, and want to know what happens to members who are already in EGYM.
Resolution
Open the EGYM page
- Go to
Configuration > Integrations > EGYM.
- Go to
Remove a site (if applicable)
- In Enable Sites, select the delete icon beside the site.
- Read the Remove Site message, then select Delete to confirm, or Cancel to leave the site as it is.
- The site is removed straight away. If its initial sync was still scheduled or running, it is stopped.
Remove a membership group (if applicable)
- In Enable Membership Groups, select the delete icon beside the group.
- Select Delete in the Remove Membership Type Group message to confirm.
- From then on, members whose only qualifying membership is in that group are no longer sent to EGYM, at any site.
Confirm the change
- The site or group no longer appears in its section, and a confirmation message is shown.
Notes
- Accounts already in EGYM are kept. Removing a site does not delete the EGYM accounts of members already sent there. Clear them in EGYM if they should no longer exist.
- Adding a removed site again. The Remove Site message warns that existing EGYM accounts must be cleared in EGYM before the site can be added again.
- Members at more than one EGYM site. A member has a single EGYM account across your organisation, even if they qualify at several EGYM sites.
- Removing every group. You can remove the last membership group even while sites are enabled. No members are then sent to EGYM from any site until you add a group again.
- Deleted members. A member deleted in Gladstone is still removed from EGYM, even if their site or membership group is no longer enabled for EGYM.
- Sync errors recorded for a removed site stay in Sync Errors. See How to Review EGYM Sync Errors.
- To add sites and groups, see How to Set Up the EGYM Integration.
